Sponsored Walk
The recently advertised Sponsored walk has been cancelled. This is due to a number of members raising concerns that the event was too close to our previous walk to Harrow last season. The working group took this onboard and took the decision to postpone the event. Current plans are that another sponsored event is likely to take place in Spring 2007.
As recently advertised, the Supporters Trust are planning their second sponsored walk following the success of the first one to Harrow Borough last season. This season, the walk will precede the fixture at Boreham Wood on October 7th.
Walkers will again be leaving Claremont Road at 11am, and the distance of the walk will again be approximately 8-9 miles, this time roughly following the A1 up towards Meadow Park. The proceeds of the walk will again be split 50-50 between the Supporters Trust and St. Luke's Hospice, who supporters may remember carry out their work locally in Harrow and Brent and were grateful to recieve a cheque for around £1250 at the AFC Wimbledon game last season.
Sponsor forms will shortly be downloadable from the documents section of this website, or the link below, and will be available at home games through the usual channels. We would like to at least equal the achievements last season, so please do your best to either walk and raise as much money as possible, or support those who are doing so as best as you can.
