Sponsored Skydive
Supporters Trust and working group member Dave Garner is planning to do a skydive on September 19th at The North London Parachute Centre, Chatteris Airfield in Cambridgeshire to raise funds for the trust. As part of his preparation he is having to lose nearly 2 stone in weight, and he is also scored of heights!
As most regular supporters in recent years and many members of the trust will be aware, Dave is one of the more enthusiastic supporters to join us in recent years, and he has decided to put his fears aside (along with his fondness for alcohol!) with the aim of raising additional funds for the Trust. Since Dave was around two stone over the maximum weight for a tandum skydive when he decided to fix a date, he has had to commit to a diet of what he described as "rabbit food" to bring himself to the required weight.
Dave will be collecting sponsors at all games between now and the event, or alternatively will willingly accept sponsorship offers via e-mails either to the Trust at info@hfctrust.co.uk or direct to himself at davegarnercarpets@hotmail.com.
